== Founders ==
Wine & Design was founded by college friends Harriet Mills and Emmy Preiss. The two started the first studio in Raleigh, NC in 2010 and then began to franchise a year later. Wine & Design does business under the names Wine & Design Franchise LLC and Wine & Design LLC. In September 2014, Preiss sold a portion of her interest of the company to Mills. Preiss still remains as the minority owner of Wine & Design Franchise LLC. Mills is the majority owner and serves as its president. The sole predecessor is Wine & Design LLC, which is now solely owned by Preiss. There is no parent company.〔Wine & Design Franchise Disclosure Document〕
